Dedicated

He touched a key, it rang ever so softly
A bitter smile flashed all across his face
Without her the room felt cold and empty
Without her laughter the life had lost its grace
She had left and he could not have seen
The tears that glistened on her cheek
It felt like a half of his heart was still
Standing at the bus stop, waving, face so bleak

I know I sound like a broken record
But this is just the thing I want to say
Without you I’m a wreck and
I never want you to go away
It might sound like a cliché
But I really miss you when you’re gone
I might not make things easy
But I had to say you’re the one I love

Counting days and even counting hours
Until the time he’ll meet her once again
Being together, they made all the others
feel awkward, envious and just a bit insane
When their eyes meet, the world turns bright and graceful
doesn't matter, if there's a flood or World War Three
Tender kisses, joined hands, smiling faces
Chemistry between them that everyone can see

I know I sound like a broken record
But this is just the thing I want to say
Without you I’m a wreck and
I never want you to go away
It might sound like a cliché
But I really miss you when you’re gone
I might not make things easy
But I had to say you’re the one I love

When they're apart, then nothing seems to work out
When they're together, no one can separate
these two, 'cause they have grown all into
each other's souls and they're each other's fate

I know I sound like a broken record
But this is just the thing I want to say
Without you I’m a wreck and
I never want you to go away
It might sound like a cliché
But I really miss you when you’re gone
I might not make things easy
But I had to say you’re the one I love
